I’m a UX Designer with 18 years of experience in design. Now, I combine my unique background in apparel design, user-centered process, and business strategy to deliver delightful products from design to production. In the past 3 years, I have been taking a journey of continuing education and shifting toward Digital +UX UI Design by using my end-to-end design strategy from the Complex problem-solving knowledge that I gained in the apparel industry. In UX, I particularly enjoy problem-solving with wire-framing, UI patterns and user flows. I am also very experienced in Visual & Interaction design.
Some of my other skills include: managing design development and working with vendors, quality control, mentoring other designers, and being fluent in Japanese.
When I am not designing, I’m soaking up the Socal Sunshine by the beach with my husband Josh, my daughter Fiona and my dog Paco. I’m also passionate about women’s empowerment and advocating for a more just and equitable society.
